Prof. Dr. Tayyar Arı who is a Professor of International Relations was born on March 15, 1960 in Mersin, graduated from Middle East Technical University in 1984 and received his PhD from Istanbul University in 1991. He has been serving as instructor at Uludag University since 1984. He became Associated Professor in 1996 and Professor in 2002. Since then he has been teaching at the same university and at some private universities in Istanbul. Prof. Arı made his postgraduate study in Georgetown University, U.S. and has been in several
countries for research and international conference purposes particularly in
the Middle Eastern, European and Eurasian countries. He has several books
and articles published in Turkish and English on the Middle East,
Eurasia, Turkish-American Relations and the South Asia. Prof. Dr. Tayyar Arı is serving as the head of Department of Internationals
Relations at Uludag University.
